All 120 BOTW Shrines Cheat Sheet
BOTW has 120 shrines, many hidden behind shrine quests. Sweeping by type is fastest.

1. Type Distribution
Combat and puzzle each about half, plus a few "blessing/trial" that only appear after an external task.
Combat shrines: fixed enemies; practice.
Puzzle shrines: use magnesis/cryonis/stasis.
2. Progress by Ability
Get the four abilities
Once you have the Sheikah Slate abilities, most puzzle shrines break.
Clear combat along the way
Combat shrines on the main path; no detour.
Solve hidden shrines
Do the matching "shrine quest" first to reveal them.
3. Stamina or Heart?
Want to climb towers/glide? Prioritize stamina. Want to bash the boss? Prioritize heart. Suggest a full stamina round first, then heart.
Tip
From a tall tower summit, unsolved shrines show as "?"—sweep by plan, miss none.
