Zonai Device Vehicle Building 101

Vehicles are TOTK's signature play. Master the "wheel + steering stick + battery" triangle and you can build ground cars, boats, even flyers.

1. The Core Trio

Every vehicle rests on three parts: the Zonai battery that powers it, the steering stick that controls direction, and the wheels/fans/springs that move it.

Steering Stick ×1: controls direction; required.

Zonai Battery ×1: supplies power and decides range.

2. Build a Ground Car (step by step)

Place a chassis

Pick a flat slab as the body; long enough for two wheels.

Mount wheels

Attach one wheel front and one back, symmetric or it veers.

Add steering stick

Snap it to the body center; the system will prompt to bind controls.

Power and test

Install the battery and drive; if it spins in place, the wheel is likely reversed.

3. Stability & Power Saving

Lower center of gravity is steadier: put the battery and steering stick below the body. For long trips, use "fan + spring" instead of wheels to save power.

Tip

Most rollovers come from high center of gravity or asymmetric wheels. Test on flat ground before climbing hills.

Vehicle won't move?+

Check the battery is installed and charged, and the steering stick bound (a prompt confirms it).

How do I build a flyer?+

Use springs + fan upward with battery power; control ascent and forward motion for brief flight.

Battery dead?+

Zonai ore scatters the map; knock it off with Ultrahand and reattach, or refill at a shrine.
